How to Play Fart Together
Learn Fart Together basics: lobby setup for 2–4 players, thrust timing, controllers, and common fixes.
You share one raft. Each player’s thrust pushes the whole team. Winning is about timing bursts together — not mashing harder alone.
1. Install the demo or EA build from Steam
Only use the official Steam pages linked on this site.
2. Party up (2–4 players)
Create or join an online co-op session. Confirm everyone can hear each other.
3. Assign roles verbally
Pick a caller for turns (“left two thrust now”). Chaos without a caller is half the fun — and all of the fails.
4. Thrust with intent
Short taps for corrections. Long blasts for speed. Opposite-side thrusts cancel and spin you.
5. Reset fast after disasters
Laugh, ready-up, retry. The game is built for “one more try.”
Controllers
Full controller support including DualSense / DualShock. Great for couch-adjacent online sessions.
Keyboard
Keyboard-only option is supported. Bind thrust clearly before the first hard turn.
Camera & audio comfort
Steam lists camera comfort options and custom volume controls — use them if motion gets spicy.
Troubleshooting
▸We keep spinning in circles
Opposite thrusts cancel. Have one side pause while the other corrects, then sync forward bursts.
▸Someone can’t join
Check Steam friends/online status, firewall, and that everyone is on the demo or the same EA build.
▸Input feels delayed
Close heavy background apps, use wired network if possible, and confirm controller is set as the active device.
